Grand Marnier Orange Cognac


Grand Marnier is an orange flavored cognac created in 1880. Its made from a blend of Cognac brandy (aged up to 10 years), distilled wild tropical orange, and sugar.
In the UK it is 70 proof/35% ABV (Alcohol by volume). In the US Its 80 proof US/40% ABV (Alcohol by volume).
Quality grades for Cognac:
V.S. (Very special) youngest brandy stored for at least 2 years in cask.
V.S.O.P. (Very superior old pale) youngest brandy stored for at least 4 years in cask.
XO (Extra Old) youngest brandy stored for at least 6 years. (may change to 10 years in 2016)
Hors D'age (beyond age) same as XO


'57 Chevy #2: 1 1/2 oz. Southern Comfort, 1 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier, 1 1/2 oz. Vodka, Pineapple Juice.
Combine in a highball glass and top with pineapple juice.

1-900-F**k-Me-Up: 1/2 oz. Absolut Kurant Vodka, 1/4 oz. Grand Marnier, 1/4 oz. Chambord Raspberry Liqueur, 1/4 oz. Midori, 1/4 oz. Malibu Rum, 1/4 oz. Amaretto, 1/2 oz. Cranberry Juice, 1/4 oz. Pineapple Juice.
Mix all the ingredients with ice then pour into shot glasses.

Agent 99: 1/3 oz. Grand Marnier, 1/3 oz. Parfait Amour, 1/3 oz. Anisette.
Layer in a shot glass.

Alice In Wonderland: 1/3 part(s) Tequila, 1/3 part(s) Tia Maria, 1/3 part(s) Grand Marnier.
Shake with ice and strain into a shot glass.

A1: 1 oz. Gin, 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier, dash(es) Lemon Juice, dash(es) Grenadine.
Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

All Warm And Fuzzy: 1 oz. Kahlua, 1 oz. Baileys Irish Cream, 1 oz. Butterscotch Schnapps, 1 oz. Grand Marnier, 4 oz. Hot Chocolate or coffee, Whipped Cream.
Mix liqueurs into hot chocolate (or coffee). Top with whipped cream.

Grand Pomegranate Martini: 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier, 1 1/2 oz. Tequila, 3/4 oz. Pomegranate Juice, 3/4 oz. Lime Juice, 3/4 oz. Simple Syrup.
Wet rim of cocktail glass with lime juice and dip into sugar. Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice, shake, then strain while pouring into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.
