History:

Beefeater is a gin produced in the United Kingdom. The recipe remained in the family until 1987.
Its alcohol content is 47% (94) in the us and 40% (80) for the rest of the world due to the way the proof is measured in the usa.
The name beefeater refers to the ceremonial guards of the tower of London.
It is made from 100% grain spirit. The manufacturer has been in business since 1862. It contains 9 different botanicals: juniper, angelica root, angelica seeds, coriander seeds, liquorice, almonds, orris root, seville oranges, and lemon peel.
The history of this drink goes back to 1862 when the creator bought his first distillery for £400 and produced his own gin in 1863. By 1895, he perfected his recipe for beefeater gin.



Recipes:

Angel's Fall: 1 1/2 oz. Amaretto, 3/4 oz. Beefeater Dry Gin, 3/4 oz. Absolute Vodka, 1/4 oz. Bacardi 151 Proof Rum, 1/4 oz. Myer's Rum, 1/4 oz. Dark Rum, 1/4 oz. Light Rum, 1 1/2 oz. Grenadine, 1 splash Cranberry Juice, 1 splash Pineapple Juice, 1 splash Grapefruit Juice.
two methods to make this drink: 1. Build in a Collins glass with ice. 2. Blend with ice to make a frozen drink.

Millennium Cocktail: 2 oz. Beefeater Dry Gin, 1 oz. Cherry Brandy, 3 oz. Orange Juice, 1 splash Ginger Ale.
Shake over ice, then strain into a well-chilled martini glass.

Napoleon's Opera: 2 oz. Beefeater Dry Gin, 3/4 oz. Dubonnet Rouge Aperitif Wine, 1/2 oz. Mandarine Napoleon, 1 dash Angostura Orange Bitters.
Stir with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with an orange twist.

Smashing Pumpkin Martini: 3/4 part Beefeater Dry Gin, 1 1/4 part Hiram Walker Pumpkin Spice Schnapps, 3/4 part Sour Mix.
Combine ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into cinnamon-sugar rimmed martini glass. Garnish and serve. The Sun King: 1 oz. Combier Rouge Cherry Liqueur, 1 1/2 oz. Beefeater Dry Gin, 3 dash Bitters, 1 Sugar Cube, Lemon (peel), Orange (peel).
In a mixing glass, muddle the sugar cube with the bitters and lemon peel. Add the Roi Rene Rouge and Gin with cracked ice and stir for approx. 20 seconds. Garnish with an orange peel.

Tropical Pod Shriveler: 1 oz. Vodka, 1 oz. Beefeater Dry Gin, 1 oz. Light Rum, 3 oz. Orange Juice, 2 oz. Papaya Juice, 1 oz. Pineapple Juice, 1 oz. Cranberry Juice, 1 tbsp. Passion Fruit Syrup, 1 tsp. Powdered Sugar
Shake ingredients and pour over ice into a highball glass. Garnish with two cherries and two raisins
