Goldschlager Cinnemon:

History:

This is a Swiss Cinnamon Schnapps. It contains 87 Proof/43.5% (Alcohol by Volume). It was originally 107 Proof/53.5% (Alcohol by Volume). It was produced in Switzerland until the 1990s when it was acquired by another company and continued production in Italy. There is a bunch of Gold Flakes floating around inside the liquor. This is actual gold. It measures about 13 Mg in a 1 Liter bottle of Goldschlager. As of 2012, this would amount to about 0.56 EUR or lower. The German word Goldschlager (gold beater) is for the profession of metal workers that beat bars of gold into thin sheets.
